How To Help

Help make the biggest splash ever for the 2016 Goodyear Lake Polar Bear Jump. We will be celebrating 21 years of dedication to helping local, deserving families, organizations and children with medical disabilities.

Ways You Can Help Other Than Jumping

1. Polar Bear Banks - Help the jumpers raise money for the recipients by polar bear banks. These banks were made by students at Springbrook, and are simply a donation piggy bank to take around the area and collect donations. These banks can be used by anyone willing to help out (such as individuals, teams, or businesses). We would greatly appreciate it, if you would like to participate in our polar banks. To reserve your bank today call the Waters at 607-286-7101 soon, before they are all gone. On February 12th, these banks must be dropped off at a location that will be determined in the coming weeks.

2. Polar Bear Auction and Raffles-Auction on January 31, 2016 at Milford Central School at 12:30PM.

A: Collect baskets, new or lightly used items.

B: Sell raffle tickets.

C: Work auction, concession stand, help set up or take down. All the money raised from the auction goes to pay for the day of the jump enabling us to give 100% of the money raised away. If interested contact the Waters at (607)286-7101.

3. Cans and Bottles - Take your bottles and cans and donate them to the PBJ. Drop them off at the Oneonta Redemption Center at 459 Chestnut Street in Oneonta. 607-433- 9750. Tell them that they are for the PBJ Kids!

4. Raffles - Each year the Jump has a big raffle. If you want to sell raffle tickets contact the Waters at (607) 286-7101. Sold raffle tickets must be handed in on February 12th to a location that will be determined in the coming weeks.
