Max Kranbuhl

Max Kranbuhl is a 16 year old boy from Morris, NY.  In July 2015, Max was diagnosed with a form of liver cancer that is very rare in someone his age.  On September 11, 2015, Max underwent a twenty hour surgery at Boston Children's Hospital to remove the hepatocelluar carcinoma tumor from his liver. He spent two weeks recovering in the hospital and now makes frequent trips back to Boston Children's for follow up CT scans and MRIs.  Before his diagnosis, Max attended Patherfinder Village School in Edmeston, NY. He has not been able to return yet to school this year. Max is a sweet, fun loving boy that enjoys hanging out with his family and driving his riding lawn mower, Sonny.  Max lives at home with his parents Michael and Maureen and his sister Maeve.
